Visonic Interactive is an optional add on to the Visonic Power Master intruder alarm systems

The Visonic interactive system gives you control of your burglar alarm system from your mobile phone (Android & iphone ) or tablet. You can control your alarm system anywhere in the world, giving you a more flexible way of managing your home security.

How does this work?

Your alarm system has a Powerlink fitted, which is a modem device that gets connected into your alarm systems control panel and to your properties router via a hard wired connection.The Powerlink and the Power-manage systems work together and now gives you the connection securely to remote devices, like your mobile phone where you can access the “Visonic-Go app”.You can download the app from the play store or itunes store.

Is this Secure? Yes, like all Visonic products security it has to be reliable,robust and secure to meet the European standards. It actually makes your alarm system more secure as it being monitored by yourselves remotely. It can also be linked up to our Broadband security team, but there is a monthly charge for this service. From your “Visonic-go App” on your phone you will be asked for your system code, for you to be able to access any of it’s features.

By having your alarm system linked through to you using the Visonic-go APP can also allow us to login securely to your property and do a diagnostics check and change some of the programming if you needed us to.

Note: Engineers or other users cannot login to other peoples systems. There is a secure procedure that allows engineers to do this for you and requires your permission at the time.

At the top of the phone screen you can see the same setting symbols as on your control panel. Just “press”the closed padlock to arm/set your system.The open padlock turns it off and the man in the house symbol is your part set.

The Camera icon will bring your video images up for you to view.

You can add Camera Pir’s to the Burglar alarm system

By adding a camera Pir to the system you can find out if it is a genuine break-in or not, avoiding putting yourself or others in danger by entering into an occupied building and also who or what has triggered the alarm system.

If it was a false alarm triggered by something falling over, then you don’t need to rush back home to sort it out. You can just turn the alarm off and set it again, so it won’t be annoying any neighbours.

External camera Pir’s are available , so you protect the outside perimeter of your property, Outbuildings and driveways. Which can protect your cars and garden machinery etc.

You can add up to 10 Camera Pir’s onto the Visonic Powerlink system.

If your Camera pir is activated it will send a 5 second video clip through to your email. You will received an alert to let you know that your has been set off and you can then go onto your “Visonic-go App” and request another 5 second video clip / refresh.

Visonic Interactive can be added to a new Visonic Power Master installation or to existing Power Master alarm panel. You can have it with or without Camera’s.

We offer several options for the Visonic Interactive, below are a few that we offer, but we can install a bespoke system to suit your requirements. The Visonic interactive service works through your home Broadband router.

The cost of having the Visonic-go app, works out much cheaper than having 2 separate CCTV and Burglar alarm systems.
